this isnt the main story… the anime was literally episodes away from catching up to the manga, which is why they have this filler. Which quite honestly, isn’t that bad. It isn’t a “OH THERES SOME EVIL POWER THAT WE WILL EXPLAIN TO YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE FILLER” they gave the “force” back story with a whole bunch of cameos from old villains. Hey it could be worse like those Naruto fillers ;P This is Fairy Tail’s only one that skipped the main arc (apart from like OVAs and one episode fillers)
