I agree with you, the light novel is what ppl should be reading. There's a chance that Phantom bullet is released as an OVA but that would only cover vol 5-6 there's still more volumes. I know the reason they are covering fairy dance this season is so they can wrap up the story (kiritoxasuna). They can also come up with another 25 ep season and cover phantom bullet, underworld and the latest arc since the story flows so nice.

I guess we'll have to wait an see. although I think the light novel is much better than the anime, I have to admit that it is nice to see it animated.

Considering they covered both the side stories and the main story in under 13 episodes, i find it a bit hard (but not impossible) to make another 25 episode season based on Phantom Bullet and Alicization. I would like to see those arcs animated though. I'm just saying it would be a bit hard without adding filler. Cause filler makes everything annoying. I hope they make a 5 episode mini-arc about Calibur/Calibur SS. That would be epic.

okay pause right here, let think for a second. There were some anime that manage to last long and finish around 50 to 300 (let say for example).
The question right there is how did other anime manage to last long? With that answer, then maybe SAO may have a chance. (Like 10%)

Umm.. no offense, but i can't figure out what you just said. I assume you said something along the lines of:

If that's what you meant, the answer is simple. Fillers. SAO could do fillers, but as i said in my last post, fillers derail good series.

Hmmmm it would seem so but that just me realize that my argument right there is point less than. OOO well, i just can't clarify in any way cause one of the few example is something that is not relevant to this topic. So like i said ooo well

well there were some things that were told in the light novel that weren't told in the anime for example the first day when he teamed up with someone for a quest, if they added all those things the first arc of SaO would be a bit longer without fillers (still following the novel). SaO is just to epic to finish with only 25ep's :( I hope there will be a second season aswell :D

I still haven't finished the light novel yet, but I'd love to see more of it getting animated :D
