ok,im not the one to say tht cus i wouldnt do anything like tht better but these graphics just:SUCK FO BEING AN ANIME,it looks like a game-.-
The animation is different from most of the anime today. It uses CGI or 3d graphics, which is video game like, rather than the standard 2d animations that most anime nowadays use. If this becomes a weekly anime, its developers must be good or have a lot of manpower, since its already hard to come out with a weekly anime in a 2d format, what more if its in 3d. I dont really like the upgrade in graphics, then again its new and only a few animes use this kind of graphics engine. So it will take a while to get used to. There is a downside to using this kind of graphics, the funny expressions, deformed shapes of characters, outrageous character proportions, (just to name a few), will not be as good as its 2d counter parts. This will be a bad transition for romance, drama, ecchi, comedy, (again just a few) genre animes. The good side, anime with a lot of action or sports oriented (again just a few), like Gundum, Higurashi, Naruto, Fairy Tail, Accel World, Bleach, New Prince of Tennis, Sket Dance, Inazuma 11, (again just a few), will benefit the upgrade in graphics because it give more possibilities and room for better animations during fight or battle scenes. (these are just some of the pro/cons of the upgraded animation, there are more and if they improve the graphics a bit more some of these pro/con will disappear and new one will arise)
to make things easier…imagine this anime have chibi characters, then imagine an anime like Naruto or Fairy Tail with chibi characters. its weird huh? Then imagine any anime using a graphics engine like the Final Fantasy Versus 13 trailer…Change will bring benefits and possibilities, but it also brings disadvantages along with it.
i got use to the graphics now except the talking part
You have a point with he graphics but I think you missed something if you payed attention or even watched it all the way through you would know that they weren’t on using 3d graphics but also 2d animations for things such as showing expressions such as ie. anger, pain, happiness, sadness ect.
I think the transition from one to the other makes it work.
It might not be on par with some of the great artistic works of great anime series but I betcha its “ALOT” cheaper this way so it means they have more money for budget and can create more of the series in the future. I’m not sure if this series has a manga or even a book to guide it along for the developers/writes to go by, if not then it leaves a hell of alot space for creativity which is something I applaud.
I think opinion was a little close minded. Just because you didn’t like it or maybe couldn’t even bare to watch the whole thing (which is what it seems like to me) you have to see it through a anime critics POV to really understand what they are trying to do. Which is something I try to do whenever I watch and Anime and I think everyone who is entertained/fascinated by the Animes they watch need to pay closer attention to what the writers want to try to express through their work instead just trying to understand what they’re saying by only reading the subs. ^_^
