Big Eye for example could easily turn any duel around but the writers keep insisting on using the unlikely combo of Utopia + Double or Nothing! or Chaos Utopia to win his duels for him. It’s pretty uncreative and getting stale fast. I get that Utopia’s his signature card but it’s not like Yugi used Dark Magician to win every duel…..

just like Zexal is about collecting numbers for Astral to regain
his memory and Haruto to go back to normal
the reason why I think they are over-using Number 39 is that
they are trying to create a bond of sorts so when
Astral will regain his memory and turn evil all the numbers
will leave Yuma except #39 and he will be Yuma’s only “Hope” /pun

GX-(variations on the original) The Sacred Beasts and The Wicked Beasts
5d’s-(Nordic Mythology) Odin, Thor, Loki
the only question is what the summoning conditions will be
(3-5 normal monsters or 3 Xyz monsters?)
and if infact they will use the Greek mythology o,o

(more likely that Herc will be a material for Zeus)
just gotta wait afew more months to see what gods they picked ^^

I gotta say I agree with Griffis, thanks to the Gagaga archetype Yuma could’ve annihilated with cards like # 61 and # 11, not to mention he could’ve tried bringing out 96 who has a nice lil effect.
