Yeah griffiths, i assume he took his number because as far as i can tell the rule of dueling with number’s is: Unless you are protected, you will be controlled by that numbers. If you beat an opponent with numbers, you obtain their numbers. This rule doesn’t apply to II, IV, or V because they had Tron’s seal, up to the point where they were beaten by Yuma, Kaito and Ryoga respectively.

He made a little speech saying he wanted to be the Champion but would hate losing Shark even more, so that’s why he didn’t summon his Chaos Number. He needed to take Shark Drake off Shark to turn him back to normal.

Though why he didn’t just let Astral take it after beating him with Chaos Hope isn’t quite clear. IDK what happened to Shark Drake though. Yuma kept Dark Mist, and he was evil, so we’ll probably assume he kept Shark Drake too.

lol yuma is so stupid. he could’ve special summoned Traplin by destroying his trap. then, he could’ve sumnoned chaos hope (his life points were 900) and used chaos hope’s effect on shark drake vice to win the duel. he would’ve destroyed shark drake and won the duel.
good ep anyway, looking forward to the other semi final, not sure who’s better kaito or tron
